A pioneering vision of strategic consulting and economic resilience

Patricia Guyomarc’h built her practice on a comprehensive mastery of business law before becoming, from 1993, one of the pioneering figures in Restructuring in France. After ten years as a partner in a renowned firm, she founded CG LAW GUYOMARC'H in 2000 with one conviction: to support leaders with analytical rigour, essential listening skills, and the ability to develop fighting strategies where others might see dead ends.

Beyond her legal expertise, Patricia Guyomarc’h is driven by a pursuit of excellence that transcends the boundaries of law. A woman of commitment, she also cultivates an artistic activity, a passion for creation that mirrors her agility and technical skill in managing complex cases. In every commission, she prioritises the power of negotiation and the surgical precision of law to offer decision-makers legal security commensurate with their ambitions.

Patricia Guyomarc’h’s career began at Paris II Panthéon-Assas University, where she developed an elite legal education. A prominent figure among her peers and awarded distinctions at every key stage, she obtained her DEA in Business Law under the supervision of Professor Bruno Oppetit, while simultaneously completing a course at the Institute of Business Law (IDA). This practical training in taxation and accounting enabled her, upon obtaining her CAPA in 1991, to grasp the company in its financial and structural entirety. From that time, she became a lecturer in business law at business schools.

She then began her career in 1991 at SCP Bartfeld-Cournot, immediately confronting the realities of banking and commercial litigation. She then joined SCP Bernard Lagarde as an associate and then a partner, a position she held for a decade. During this period, she worked on landmark cases in French economic history (Tapie Affair, Moulinex, Fouquet’s), developing rare expertise in managing industrial crises. In 2000, she chose to pursue her own project by creating CG LAW, a firm dedicated to tailor-made support for executives.

Patricia Guyomarc'h's commitment to law extends far beyond the courts, notably through the transmission of knowledge and doctrinal reflection. As a professor at the Paris Bar School (EFB) since 2018, she trains future generations in the intricacies of collective proceedings. She also works as a lead trainer for Lamy Formation, alongside the Bar Association, sharing her practical experience with her peers and chartered accountants.

This technical authority is coupled with an active contribution to French legal doctrine. Patricia Guyomarc'h regularly publishes in-depth analyses in renowned journals such as the Semaine Juridique or the Bulletin Joly, and represents the voice of legal practitioners within employers' organisations like the MEDEF. A member of prestigious international networks such as INSOL and TMA France, she received the Trophée du Droit in corporate restructuring in 2013.

She practises her profession surrounded by a team of lawyers or barristers specialised in their areas of practice.

For particularly complex cases, she doesn't hesitate to assemble teams with highly specialised colleagues from outside her firm to provide the client with the best possible service.
